Zechs Mercuises or Mileoardo Peacecraft and the Tallgesse
Zechs Merquise
Age: 20
Ethnic origin: Northern European
Place of origin: Cinq Kingdom
Height: 184 cm
Weight: 76 kg
Eye color: Nail blue
Hair color: blond
Long thought dead (by everyone except faithful Noin), the man previously known as OZ's "Lightning Count" and White Fang leader Milliardo Peacecraft returns to take on a new identity. Now he is Preventer Wind, who snuffs out the fires of war. Can Zechs, the man who a year earlier was bent on destroying the world, be trusted to help save it?
The twin brother of Treize Khushrenada's Tallgeese II, this recreation of the legendary mobile suit was built at the very end of the great war between Earth and the space colonies. Its special weapons - a mighty mega cannon, and a heat rod derived from that of the Gundam Epyon - weren't completed in time for the Tallgeese III to see combat. After the war, it was seized by the Earth Sphere United Nation's intelligence agency, "Preventer." Though almost all mobile suits were destroyed by the new government in the name of world peace, the Tallgeese III was stashed away in case of emergency... an emergency that has now arisen.
Wuife and the Shelong
Chang Wufei
Age: 16
Ethnic origin: Chinese
Place of origin: L5 colony cluster
Height: 156 cm
Weight: 46 kg
Eye color: Black
Hair color: Black
Wufei, last survivor of an ancient warrior clan, finds himself ill-equipped to deal with the new era of peace for which he has sacrificed so much. The desire for justice still burns in his blood, and the prospect of new battles calls to his restless soul. Like his only true comrade - the Gundam he calls "Nataku" - Wufei was born to fight, and as the year After Colony 196 draws to a close he finds himself playing a key role in a new conflict.
The Shenlong Gundam, one of the five Gundams created for Operation Meteor, was designed to have superb close-range fighting abilities. When the Shenlong was captured by OZ, it was reconstructed by the five scientists who originally developed the Gundams, to create the even more fearsome Altron Gundam. With a double-ended twin beam trident in place of the original beam glaive, and a pair of oversized, highly extendable dragon fang claws, the Altron is unmatched as a close-range fighter. Its name is derived from its two dragon fangs - "er-to long" being Chinese for "two-headed dragon" - but its pilot prefers to call his Gundam "Nataku."
Quarte and Sandrock
Quatre Raberba Winner
Age: 16
Ethnic origin: Arabian
Place of origin: L4 colony cluster
Height: 156 cm
Weight: 41 kg
Eye color: Blue
Hair color: Platinum gold
With his father's death, the noble, gentle Quatre has become the head of the Winner family, and is using his family's resources to help rebuild after the carnage of the great war. He remains the moral center of the loose-knit community of Gundam pilots, and he's persuaded all but one of his comrades to join him in a final gesture of commitment to peace. But with a new war looming on the horizon, it it possible that Quatre has acted too rashly?
The Gundam Sandrock, one of the five Gundams created for Operation Meteor, was designed primarily for ground combat in desert regions. Even after being upgraded for space combat, the remodeled Sandrock Custom remains essentially a close-combat mobile suit, whose only significant weapons are its huge, armor-melting heat shotels. To protect it from long-range attacks, the Sandrock Custom can don a protective set of optional armor, which also appears to shield it from the heat of atmospheric re-entry.
Trowa and Heavy Arms
Trowa Barton
Age: 16
Ethnic origin: Unknown
Place of origin: L3 colony cluster?
Height: 160cm
Weight: 44 kg
Eye color: Dark green
Hair color: Brown
At the age of four, he was taken in by a mercenary troop, and by age ten this nameless boy had become a combat-hardened mobile suit pilot. Now, after countless battles, he's at last found a home with the members of his traveling circus troupe. But there are unresolved issues that are only now coming to light. How did he become the pilot of the Gundam Heavyarms? And why did this nameless lad choose to fight under the name "Trowa Barton"?
The Gundam Heavyarms, one of the five Gundams created for Operation Meteor, was a walking arsenal of machine guns, gatlings, and missiles, capable of delivering devastating firepower at any range. It was eventually upgraded for space combat, and the remodeled Heavyarms Custom was outfitted with a pair of hand-held double-barreled gatling guns. Though it lacks melee weapons, the combat skills of pilot Trowa Barton make the Heavyarms Custom a lethal opponent even in close combat.
Duo and Death Scythe
Duo Maxwell
Age: 16
Ethnic origin: American
Place of origin: L2 colony cluster
Height: 156 cm
Weight: 43 kg
Eye color: Cobalt blue
Hair color: Brown
It's hard to believe that this cheerful, happy-go-lucky youth calls himself the "God of Death." As a child, Duo was taken in by the organization of scavenging space nomads known as the "Sweeper Group," and somehow he became entangled in the colony rebels' Operation Meteor. How did Duo become the pilot of the fearsome Gundam Deathscythe? Perhaps the answer will now be revealed...
The Gundam Deathscythe, one of the five Gundams created for Operation Meteor, used the stealth capabilities of its hyper jammers to attack unsuspecting foes and strike them down with its beam scythe. After its capture by OZ, it was rebuilt by the five scientists who originally created the Gundams. The remodeled Deathscythe H features a radar-absorbing, beam-deflecting "active cloak," which not only enhances its stealth features but protects it from enemy fire as well. Its main weapon, the lethal beam scythe, has also been upgraded.
Heero Yuy and Wing Zero
Heero Yuy
Age: 16
Ethnic origin: Japanese
Place of origin:L1 colony cluster
Height: 156 cm
Weight: 45 kg
Eye color: Prussian blue
Hair color: Dark brown
Everything about this young man, who goes by the name of the martyred leader of the space colonies, is a mystery. Heero was raised from childhood to be the perfect soldier for the cause of colonial independence, and his guardians did their best to squeeze every last trace of humanity out of him. But in the course of his mission to Earth, and his dealings with the people he met there, Heero learned to live as a human being rather than a fighting machine. Now he longs to put his bloody past behind him, but when his friend Relena is placed in jeopardy and a new war threatens to break out, Heero must take his Wing Gundam Zero into battle once again.
The very first Gundam, originally designed 16 years ago, is more powerful than any of the five that were created for Operation Meteor. The Wing Zero's most powerful and dangerous feature is the Zero System, a control interface that feeds tactical data and combat simulations directly into the pilot's mind; Heero Yuy is one of the few pilots capable of handling this system. Also noteworthy is its primary weapon, the devastating twin buster rifle. As depicted in Endless Waltz, the Wing Zero lacks its "neo bird mode" transformation, but gains a set of feathered wings that enable it to survive re-entry and glide through the atmosphere.
